We cannot accommodate young children on the van based tours since the van is not equipped to accept children’s car seats but we have had customers who choose to drive themselves and follow the van. The walking tours are approximately three hours long. Parents, who know their children best, should assess the situation individually as to whether the tour is appropriate for their child. Please email us if you have questions.
Tours start promptly so as to stay on schedule and not delay other guests. Please try to arrive 10 minutes before the tour departs.
When you book your ticket, you’ll be given advice on where to park for each individual itinerary.
All ticket sales are non-refundable as the ticket represents a guaranteed space on the tour of your choice. Although it is very rare, we do reserve the right to cancel in cases where minimum enrollment is not met or due to dangerous weather conditions or other adverse circumstances beyond our control. In the case of cancellation, we will refund tickets or reschedule tickets to another date or tour. Otherwise, tours run rain or shine. If you need to reschedule your tour date please let us know as soon as possible - we may be able to reschedule you if space is available on another date. We are unable to reschedule within 7 days of the tour start time. *****If you have dietary restrictions, food allergies or special needs please contact us at 614-440-3177 as soon as you complete your booking so we can do our best to accommodate your needs.*****
Generally, tours occur regardless of weather, but we reserve the right to cancel in the event that weather is severe enough to threaten the safety of our participants.
Join us on this van-based tour featuring some of the best desserts in Columbus. This tour first visits new specialty bakery Bake Me Happy, where we'll not only get to sample their sumptuous sweets but also get a behind-the-scenes look into their impressive production pastry kitchen. Then, it's chocolate fit for a queen at Madame Delluc, at what is only the second US location for this prestigious Belgian chocolatier. Our next stop is Pattycake Bakery in Clintonville to learn about their whoopie pies, sticky buns and cookies. Of course, no dessert tour of Columbus would be complete without Jeni’s Splendid Ice Cream, so we will visit their Clintonville location to try some of their newest seasonal flavors. Finally, we’ll finish our food tour with a fabulous dessert cocktail created by mixologist extraordinaire Cris Dehlavi at M Restaurant (there will be a non-alcoholic drink option available for those under 21 or who do not wish to consume alcohol).
